Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
You will work as an analog designer at Micron Mexico Design Center, and experience with mixed signal circuit design will be a plus. You will be a part of a design team named "IP Development Group" which is targeting critical and standard circuits common to all DRAM related memory products.
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, design, optimization, and verification of block level circuits for all DRAM related projects at Micron. Use of both analog and digital CMOS design skills is needed to work on the various circuits you would be responsible for. You will also work with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits you design. Some of the circuits we target are I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair related circuits, DLL, and standard control logic. You will also work with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next leading edge process node.
You will work closely with Micron's various design teams in the US, Japan, India, and other countries and leverage vast resources available throughout Micron's global sites. Additionally, you will provide layout supervision and optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations, so good communication skills are necessary.
Qualifications Successful candidates for this position will have:
Analog IC design experience such as Regulator, Charge Pump, Oscillator, Current reference, Bandgap, Comparator design is required.Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent preferred.Experience in the memory industry of either flash or DRAM is a plus.Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).Experience with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and in writing. The ability to work independently and in teams.Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred.Experience with PERL (or other scripting language) is a plus.Highly motivated and a self-starter.Multi-tasking ability is a must for an IP DEV circuit designer as we work with all product types (compute, mobile, graphics, HBM) and product teams in parallel with silicon validation efforts.Education MSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post-graduate mixed-mode or analog circuit design experience. 15+ years' experience is preferred. New Graduate College students are also welcomed.
