The Senior Material Planner is responsible for both material planning and procurement activities, and to ensure the seamless flow of materials to meet customer demand. Plus, we'll support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing: Responsible for the PO placement process; support the buying/sourcing team to ensure parts/accessories are quoted/sourced in a timely mannerSupplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to confirm timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issuesMaterial Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to guarantee timely availability of materials for customer demandInventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventoryData Analysis: Analyze material usage trends and forecast future material requirementsProcess Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning and purchasing efficiencyReporting: Prepare and present regular reports on material status, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply chain performanceCompliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activitiesBasic QualificationsAssociate degree5 + years of experience in material planning and purchasingPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, or business administrationMaster's degree in supply chain managementCertification in APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or similarProficiency in material planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDEExperience in material planning and purchasing in a manufacturing or distribution environmentExperience with international sourcing and procurementAnalytical and problem-solving skillsEnglish communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skillsWork independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsManage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesBenefitsWe are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees and enhancing our programs when necessary.Have peace of mind and body with our health insuranceDrive forward your career through professional development opportunities
