**Location: Nuevo Leon**
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Supervisor - Purchasing Direct Materials, this position administrates the raw material and components to ensure the necessary level of inventory.
Coordinates the inventory cycle count of materials to reconciliate physical count vs. SAP
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates inventory levels, lot size, lead time, etc... on a weekly basis for all materials in order to be able to manufacture the finished goods requested by the customers as per the production schedule,
Keep inventory levels to an appropriated minimum level while continuing to ensure there is adequate inventory for production, in order to have low investment in Raw materials, without affecting production.
Under instructions of the Supervisor -Purchasing Direct Materials will define the strategic for the replenishment, it could be minimum-maximum, Kanban, MRP, etc.
A spreadsheet should be performed in a daily basis for planning purposes, this program should be linked with the master production schedule.
Coordinate cycle counts in order to maintain actual data in inventories.
Ensure all purchase order status are accurate in SAP for data for the following Material, Quantity, Supplier, Description, Item description, condition and lead times.
Adjust Kanban sizes and Kanban quantities and MRP for materials based on changes in the production schedules.
Adjust purchase order status as necessary to adapt to production needs.
Facilitate efficient just in time delivery of materials to respective plant locations.
Maintain a backlog orders for all outstanding orders with an estimated delivery date and time.
Coordinate raw material shipments with the respective custom brokers.
Look for possible MCIP cost reduction opportunities.
Provide detailed reports to management including material status, consumption trends, delivery statistics and detailed cost analysis.
Review and recommend finished stock for obsolescence and salvage.
Participate in annual physical inventory activities as directed by Materials Manager.
Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (See Responsibilities chart by position).
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor - Purchasing Direct Materials.

**Education**:
Preference Bachelor´s degree
**Experience**:
Preference Two years' experience in raw materials, purchasing, supply chain.
Formation:
Preference English spoken, inventory control and ERP.
