We are searching for the best talent for Senior Planner to be in Juarez Chih., MX Plant
You will be responsible for:
- Weekly publishes detailed production programs, consistent with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
This, under the frame of capacity and material established, as well as the production restrictions and programs for related work centers.
- He / She Is in charge of generating, printing and monitoring work/production orders (WOs) according to the MPS.
- Performs daily monitoring of production activities (real against planned), through determined reports and through physical inspection of the production floor.
- Maintains priorities while expediting, when necessary, availability of production in process to ensure the maximum level of customer service.
Interacts with the departments of purchasing, production, engineering, master planning, quality, etc.
to expedite certain activities that could place the production program under risk.
- Analyzes and monitors the inventory levels to comply with the goals established in the business plans, as well as to avoid expired and obsolete, surplus material.
- Maintains wide communication with planners / buyers of sibling plants, approves and coordinates the shipment of material to other plants, when necessary.
- Interacts with engineering to provide support with production orders of evaluations/validations that are necessary for his/her area.
- Participates in the process of developing production programs to provide support to the launching of new products.
- Maintains Business indicators updated (Scorecards, Metrics, Inventory charts)
- Performs necessary administrative tasks, including the preparation of information for reports.
- Provides help and acts as a guide for less experienced planners.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Support backing up activities to the Team when required
- Collaborates with Cycle Count activities
- Works with Engineering and Production to have a physical count of indirect materials (manufacturing aids)
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations) is required.
- A minimum of 5 years Supply Chain, Operations, and/or other business experience is required.
Experience in planning, purchasing or materials management is preferred.
Previous experience with demand, inventory, and/or supply planning is highly preferred.
- APICS certification is preferred.
- Proven analytical/quantitative skills are required and must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- The demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow-up to ensure positive results is required.
- MRP, APS, and/or ERP systems experience is required.
Manugistics, JDE, or SAP experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required.
Scenario planning experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
