Process Engineer (Assembly) located in Guadalajara North Site.Reporting to the Director, Mechanical Engineering, the Process Engineer's role involves:What a typical day looks like:Visit all assembly line and CFT monitoring compliance to model line specs.Monitor CIP progress for all stakeholders.Review fol and demand with crew member to determine min-max calculation for all aspects of EDMs related to all assembly lines.Drive disciplines of compliance between layout process flow and documents to actual line utilization.Drive accountabilities and periodic audits for assembly fit-up lines.Participate in NPI transfer to sustaining and identify ramp-up requirements and execute them.Performance service and follow-ups for ECO compliance and timely implementation.Generate structure and secure floor shop support 24/6.Driving traceability and problem-solving tools leading to RCA identification & solution.Participate in customer meetings as a representative of Flex through the process engineering area.Communicate to Global SMEs on-site implementation status on the different corporate initiatives as well as benchmarking opportunities.Experience in the metal-mechanic industry.Responsibilities:Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.Participate in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.Oversee new process equipment production.Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.Develop and maintain process documentation.Review processing methods.Interface with production on all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
