Development projects will be executed together with customers and business partners as well as internally in Tetra Pak.This position will report to the Process Engineering Manager.The position is based in Cuautitlan, Izcalli, Mexico.You may be required to travel 35% of your time regionally / globally.Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.What you will doSupport Technical Sales and Commercial Project Teams, including issue resolution in cooperation with field service engineers and other stakeholders.Support projects from a conceptual development phase (sales) through implementation to start of commercial operation. Participate in the development of automation solutions for full manufacturing operations.Work in a multi-project environment where the role adapts to the needs of each individual project.Utilize experience with industry standards for process piping, equipment and installation, strong understanding of automation control application, instrumentation applications, and start-up/commissioning of systems.Act with full responsibility for technical solution and quality aspects of project performance and food safety, while securing project management buy-in and aligning with a focus on customer needs and satisfaction.Work in close cooperation with the Plant Integration team in each of the market companies.Collaborate with customers and colleagues in an international environment, utilizing resources throughout the entire organization.Develop regulatory experience/awareness with 3A, FDA and OHS.We believe you haveBachelor´s Degree in Chemical, Food Science Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology related fields with a focus in process design and projects implementation required. Experience may be considered in lieu of a 5-year degree.Experience in food & dairy processes. Experience in commissioning, maintenance or start-ups is a plus.Proven process engineering experience ideally within the dairy or beverage industry, or pharmaceutical industry.Minimum 5 years of previous experience in food and plant engineering delivering process solutions.Strong communication, planning and leadership skills, able to solve problems consistently.Ability to draw, read and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID)
