If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Process Engineer (Welding) located in Guadalajara North Site.Reporting to the Director, Mechanical Engineering, the Process Engineer's role involves:What a typical day looks like:Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.Participate in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.Oversee new process equipment production.Manage the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.Develop and maintain process documentation.Review processing methods.Interface with production on all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.Innovate Metal Mechanical projects by applying reengineering to maintain and improve the competitiveness of the organization.Validate the processes used in the manufacture of mechanical parts in accordance with applicable requirements, norms, and standards to guarantee their quality.Supervise resources inherent to their field of application, considering safety, hygiene, and environmental aspects, to increase productivity.Experience with punch, bend, insertion, robotic tapping operations, including tool crib management, EDMs, and MRO non-BoM materials.Experience in the metal-mechanic industry (Desirable).The experience we're looking to add to our team:Intermediate English.Typically requires a bachelor's degree.Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.Evaluate and select various engineered materials.Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.Implement safety and productivity improvements.Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput
