Position Overview: The Senior Procurement Specialist for Electrical Modules will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring a diverse array of Electrical and Interior Module commodities to support Stellantis North America's Mechatronics Purchasing division. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including managing the sourcing process, crafting innovative solutions for intricate challenges, initiating cost-reduction strategies, overseeing capacity and cost constraints, maintaining purchase orders and contracts, and cultivating commercial relationships with leading suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing initiatives to meet program timelines and cost targets.Prepare and present sourcing recommendations to senior leadership.Drive cost-saving initiatives and negotiate competitive pricing for commodities.Develop, implement, and sustain the commodity strategy.Create cost models, including competitor benchmarking.Enhance and manage supplier relationships from a commercial perspective.Collaborate with key departments to address commercial issues, including Engineering, Project Cost Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Value Optimization, Finance, and Legal.Issue and maintain Purchase Orders, including non-standard contracts.Ensure a steady supply of parts in the commodity and mitigate potential shortages.Lead cost opportunity investigations with suppliers, focusing on Fixed Cost Recoveries, Benchmarking, and Market Testing.Provide timely and actionable management reports on commodity cost status, supplier performance, open issues, and potential constraints.Lead the Strategic Functional Group team and processes with Global Purchasing counterparts.
