Position Overview: The Senior Procurement Specialist for Electrical Modules will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring a diverse array of Electrical and Interior Module commodities to support the Mechatronics Purchasing division of Stellantis North America. This position involves a range of responsibilities, including managing the sourcing process, crafting innovative solutions for complex challenges, initiating cost-reduction strategies, overseeing capacity and cost constraints, maintaining purchase orders and contracts, and fostering commercial relationships with leading suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing initiatives to meet program timelines and cost objectives.Prepare and present sourcing recommendations to senior leadership.Drive cost-saving initiatives and negotiate optimal market pricing for commodities.Develop, implement, and maintain the commodity strategy.Create cost models, including competitor benchmarking.Manage and enhance supplier relationships from a commercial perspective.Collaborate closely with key departments to address commercial issues, including Engineering, Project Cost Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Value Optimization, Finance, and Legal.Issue and maintain Purchase Orders, including non-standard contracts.Ensure a continuous supply of parts in the commodity and mitigate any potential shortages.Lead cost opportunity investigations with suppliers, focusing on Fixed Cost Recoveries, Benchmarking, and Market Testing.Provide timely and actionable management reports on commodity cost status, supplier performance, open issues, and potential constraints.Lead the Strategic Functional Group team and processes with Global Purchasing counterparts. Qualifications: Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities across departments and effectively resolve conflicts.Experience in leading cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach with suppliers.Skilled in developing and managing essential supplier relationships while optimizing their capacity to deliver cost-competitive products within set timelines.Accountable for creating and supporting strategies aimed at enhancing cost-efficiency and capacity.Comprehensive understanding of global supplier capabilities and expertise in developing Stellantis' global commodity strategy.Willingness to travel and visit supplier facilities as required.
