As more of our buyers are moving from the web into our apps, this team is helping to scale app design and development by using insights and strategies from web product teams to evolve our native buyer UX.
The product designer on this team should bring knowledge of native UX patterns and interactions, and be a strong collaborator as they'll be working with teams across the Etsy Product Organization.
This Product Designer will craft native-first solutions to buyer problems, will support web-first teams in translating experiences to our native platforms, and will collaborate closely with other teams in our group to improve the experience for our buyers.
We're looking for someone who has experience applying research and data findings to drive their design decisions, who is adept at collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to deliver solutions that help meet their goals and who feels energized by working on a variety of opportunities to improve our customers' experience and contribute to our Product Design org.The team is accountable for executing on a variety of buyer experiences in Etsy's native iOS and Android apps.
They use their domain knowledge of our native platforms to collaborate with product teams to implement web solutions with considerations specific to our native platforms.
