You will build and manage a cross-functional team to develop the portfolio strategy, optimize each product's business case, drive products through Micron's Product Lifecycle Management process, and guide the development of new products.
The assigned portfolio represents a significant portion of Micron's revenue, featuring cutting-edge technologies crucial for future solutions in cloud computing, enterprise, networking, and personal computer market segments, including AI servers, general-purpose servers, and other computing applications.Key Responsibilities:• Develop a multi-year product strategy and roadmap, collaborating with your core team• Drive product strategy across functional organizations to achieve business objectives• Create and optimize business cases for each product in the portfolio• Articulate the value proposition across key workloads and use cases• Oversee product life cycle stages and ensure timely preparation of stage gates and key product decisions• Gain insight into 'problems to solve' for key stakeholders, memory technology trends, system architecture trends, and competing solutions• Foster a deep understanding of competitor strategies, solutions, and capabilities• Represent product strategies and requirements to stakeholders• Track and refine internal plans related to the portfolio, including personnel resources, manufacturing, and development activities• Establish business processes to optimize product management functionsThe role does not include finalizing sales agreements, executing sales contracts, making definitive contract decisions, participating in pricing negotiations, or authorizing contracts.We are a leading innovator in memory and storage solutions, transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
