This role sits in the Discovery team and will involve creating store experiences that help gamers find content they will love. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of developers and various cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outstanding products and solutions through scalable and high-performing store experiences.The ideal candidate will possess a strong consumer background with a proven track record of delivering solutions that meet engagement and monetization goals. Excellent collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teams, highly self-organized, ability to lead v-teams, customer-obsessed, and a strong bias for action.ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy: Develop and lead complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives from conception/planning to execution, inclusive of the experimentation phase. Do this in a data-informed way that aligns to Microsoft's Gaming goals to drive product innovation and differentiation within the games industry.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including designers, engineers, artists, and internal and external studios. Manage relationships and ensure the smooth execution of projects.Execution Excellence: Help manage cross-functional workstreams to develop concepts into detailed product plans (including roadmaps and resource planning etc.). Lead project teams to achieve goals, resolve dependencies, evaluate risk etc. Continuously monitor and improve processes to optimize project outcomes.Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations etc.Inclusive Leadership: Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that values the contributions of all team members. Promote an atmosphere where different perspectives are respected and considered in decision-making.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 7+ years experience as a Product Manager in a consumer environment or equivalent experience.Ability to conceive, plan, and execute on initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional emotional intelligence
