.**Your Job**As a planner your job will be the creation of a daily or weekly production schedule that ensures that customer demand is met by requested deadlines. This includes the analysis of raw material needed to support the schedule as well as engagement in the revision of manpower & equipment available Vs needed to support the requested deadlines. Active participation on strategies that better fit in accordance of the business and customer demand behavior.**Our Team**The production planning team is responsible for aligning demand with manufacturing capacity to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials. They focus on detailed scheduling to create optimal production sequences that are feasible and allow simulations of various planning scenarios to determine optimal schedules.**What You Will Do**- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance with minimum delay which includes analyzing backlog and clear to build.- Coordination of production flow across multiple products or family of products- Monitoring of output and on time completion of work orders to ensure production plan dates are met- Schedule demand in shifts according to production needs- Address issues as prompted to mitigate any interruption to the production schedule- Communicate status of production plan through the preparation of performance reports- Collaboration with production support groups like Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, etc- Preparation and analysis of expected revenue and shipping projections- Timely communication flow with Customer Service Reps on inquiries- Analysis and monitoring of on time delivery at granular level to ensure customer request dates are met- Involvement in Lean projects and/or proposals of projects and strategies to ensure continues improvement- Revision and monitoring of inventory levels at Finished Good and sub-assembly levels to maintain optimal strategies and avoid S&E.- Practice of intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo- Maintenance of exception messages to ensure MRP is lean and true to customer demand.- Conversion of planned orders daily to ensure demand is being reflected promptly and accordingly within the MRP to execute procurement of materials as well as visibility to ship dates to customers demand.- Waterfall analysis weekly review waterfall to determine demand fluctuations and look for a strategy to accomplish mid & long-term demand- Kaizen releases 1 be-weekly- Perform an active participation on NPI releases and/or new business
