Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and implements project plans and schedules to meet business goals and objectives.
- Leads project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and progress.
- Manages project risks and issues to minimize negative impact on project outcomes.
- Ensures adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Develops and manages project budgets, resource plans, and timelines.
- Manages project change requests and scope creep to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Facilitates project team meetings, including status updates, issue resolution, and decision making.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project success.
- Develops and manages project documentation, including project charters, project plans, and status reports.
- Implements and utilizes project management software to track project progress and milestones.
- Implements quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Manages project conflicts and negotiates solutions with project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Leads continuous improvement efforts to optimize project management processes and procedures.
- Fosters a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project team members.
- Coaches and mentors junior project managers to develop their project management skills and abilities.
- Evaluates project outcomes against business goals and objectives to identify areas for improvement.
What we are looking for:
- At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience in project management, as well as a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, develop project plans, manage risks, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to motivate and lead project teams, manage conflicts, negotiate solutions, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and senior executives.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, as well as expertise in the relevant industry domain or technology.
- Ability to develop and manage project budgets, forecast project costs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize negative impact on project outcomes.
- Ability to manage change requests, scope creep, and project variations to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Ability to develop and implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Ability to manage and lead project teams, develop team members, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to align project goals and objectives with the organization's strategic priorities and long-term vision.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions to drive project success.
- Knowledge of contract management principles, including contract negotiation, risk assessment, and vendor management.
- Ability to develop and manage resource plans, including staffing, procurement, and capacity planning.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate project status and progress.
- Ability to develop and manage project documentation, including project charters, project plans, and status reports.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize project management processes and procedures.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior project managers and team members to develop their project management skills and abilities.
