Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in North America, mainly in Mexico.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured/staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.Qualifications for the roleExperience with automation products (PLC, Control Systems, SCADA systems, etc.).Advanced knowledge about the processes of Cement Industry.Familiar with System 800xA with Minerals Libraries or similar will be an advantage.Ease communicating in English and in Spanish.Flexibility to travel.Solid electrical knowledge.Leadership skills.Global mindset with a passion to work in diverse cultures.Work independently, and you are a team player who is flexible and open to new ideas.Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering or related.What's in it for you?Learn from highly experienced, genuine, and caring colleagues – people who are committed to helping you achieve your personal and professional goals.Help customers in driving efficiency and sustainability, making a strong impact.Play a part in anticipating, sensing and responding to technology trends.BenefitsPaid Parental leave (gender neutral)Life insuranceRetirement planAccident insuranceWellbeing program
