This role involves interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages. Responsibilities include managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, as well as overseeing general contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing construction proposals and related pricing/scopes, assessing work-in-place, and approving capital expenditure spends, including the revision of cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a client's organization.Planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, and controlling the delivery of the project on time.QualificationsEducation/Experience:Fluent in German, English, and Spanish is required.Minimum of 10 years' experience.Sector experience in Logistics, Automotive, Manufacturing Plants, or other hi-tech industrial facilities construction projects.Experience in commissioning.Experience in LEED Projects is a plus.Engineering or architectural degree with chartered status.Fluent in English and Spanish at a working level to lead meetings, prepare reports and written communication, and present to clients and suppliers.PMI or equivalent certification is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.Skills and QualificationsRun and lead client and other required meetings, presenting updates to the client at all project stages.Stakeholder management: Lead local Client and report to the global team.Manage risks and control the risk register, conducting risk workshops as needed.Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor/report on this data.Issue reports as agreed with the Client.Manage the cost report and control change orders, recording occurrences that might result in a claim while acting on the client's behalf.Support design management and review.Support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes in construction.Review requests for payment.Advocate for the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.Prepare, update, and manage the project schedule and milestones.Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slippage.Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.Lead value engineering sessions as required.Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.Oversee and manage the transfer of building operations to the client, including all close-out documentation and warranties.Adopt a collaborative approach, be client-facing, and develop strong relationships while confidently presenting to clients and stakeholders.Be assertive and detail-oriented to identify potential issues early and raise them in the appropriate forum for resolution.Demonstrable track record in delivering relevant projects.Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.Management experience, with the ability to lead a team in delivering a commission and general line management.Manage revenue, team resources, and priorities to ensure client expectations are met.Have an elevated sense of quality and lead quality control actions.Possess good knowledge and awareness of Health and Environmental Safety in construction.Be an effective communicator, both verbal and written.Be a self-starter, team player, and natural leader capable of motivating teams.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
