This role involves interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages. Responsibilities include managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, as well as overseeing general contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.Key responsibilities include reviewing construction proposals and related pricing/scopes, assessing work-in-place, and approving capital expenditure spends, including the revision of cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a client's organization. This professional will also be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, and controlling the delivery of the project on time.QualificationsEducation/Experience:Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project manager, with at least 5 years as a senior project manager for manufacturing plants construction projects.Sector experience in Logistics, Automotive, Manufacturing Plants, or other hi-tech industrial facilities construction projects.Experience in commissioning.Experience in LEED Projects is a plus.Engineering or architectural degree with chartered status.Experience in the Monterrey market is desired.Fluent in English and Spanish at a working level to lead meetings, prepare reports, and communicate with clients and suppliers.PMI or equivalent certification is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.Skills and Qualifications:Run and lead client meetings, presenting updates at all project stages.Stakeholder management: Lead local Client and report to the global team.Manage risks and control the risk register; facilitate risk workshops as needed.Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor/report on this data.Issue reports as agreed with the Client.Manage cost reports and control change orders, acting on the client's behalf.Support design management and review.Support engineering decisions regarding project cost and budget during design-build changes.Review requests for payment.Advocate for the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.Prepare, update, and manage the project schedule and milestones.Analyse, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slippage.Ensure equipment meets the project schedule.Lead value engineering sessions as required.Review and approve final invoices and payment applications
