We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer (CI/CD Automation) in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico
What you will do
Work on pipeline changes to move between CI-CD systems;
Augment pipelines to deliver software bits into GCP;
PoC scale topologies in GCP with containerized edge products;
Internal tooling – Webhooks for pipeline notifications.
Must haves
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with Python.
Experience with Pytest.
Strong experience dealing with pipelines and CI/CD automation.
Proficient knowledge of container technologies and strong experience applying containers to build pipelines.
Experience in Networking/Test development for network products, including TCP/IP and routing protocols is a must-have requirement.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (preferred), GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
Strong understanding of software packaging and versioning concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with agile development methodologies is advantageous.
Experience with CICD Automation & internal tooling
Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus;
Experience/Exposure to Google Cloud services;
Experience in Networking/Test development for network products.
