Teams are continuously working to develop leading-edge technology that can not only add convenience to the daily lives of so many drivers across the country but our advancements in safety and security could also help save their lives.ResponsibilitiesThe QA Engineer's primary responsibilities will be to define, implement, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a provable track record of designing, implementing, and automated testing sophisticated software architectures and will have been directly responsible for writing comprehensive software test scripts, execute and analyze test reports. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment.Work with QA and functional/development teams to understand end-to-end system functionality.Define, implement, and maintain automated test suites for the new and modified functionality.Solve complex automation challenges and work on complex projects with minimal supervision.Set and review script quality standards and practices.Perform automated test demos and walk through the test scripts with other team members.Perform automated tests, work with QA and functional/development teams to triage test results.Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.Assist with executing non-functional testing in terms of performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.SKILLSMust haveGeneral:Bachelor's or Master's Degree either in CS, EE, or EC Engineering.A clear understanding of the Scrum methodology.Experience working with Configuration Management Systems (CMS) like Jira, and Confluence.Software development:Experience developing Python scripts (5+ years).Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Software Version Control experience (Git).Testing:Strong knowledge of testing concepts (functional/non-functional testing, unit testing, system testing, regression testing, defect lifecycle).Test frameworks like Robot, Appium, and Espresso
