.Sr. QA Engineers are experienced professionals that help in delivering software programs in order to test code and applications and have a passion for quality processes. They have in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise in managing functional testing, automating client applications and qualification of the client-side applications. Sr. QA Engineers interact with internal and external teams to train them on the products, work on projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and reproduce issues. In this role, you will mentor, guide, and work closely with team members to ensure the highest quality possible on software under test. Sr. QA Engineers are creative problem solvers and are involved in continuously driving improvements in test automation frameworks as well as assessing and reporting on the software development processes adopted by projects through audits, reviews, and inspections.About the Role:In this opportunity as Senior QA Engineer, you will:Apply your experience of test automation and software engineering best practices to build automated systems for functional and regression testing.Be very detail-oriented and self-driven in manual testing, test case designing, identifying issues, collaboration with the development team, validation of issues and bug reporting.Investigate, design, configure/integrate and test process control solutions to a variety of technical problems.Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO) to ensure good test coverage of the features/user stories.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint, regression and release testing.Communicate with cross-functional teams (e.G. developers, business systems analyst and product manager) to identify and clarify product requirements.Participate in scrum and agile ceremonies.Work closely with team leaders and architects to discuss, design and implement quality processes and practices.Have good knowledge in ADO.Use cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) web consoles or Datadog web console.Understand and build automated tests that fit into the bigger picture of software delivery for building CI/CD pipelines, optimizing the execution of tests, and ensuring that the tests are regularly providing fast and reliable feedback.Have a deep understanding of modern DevOps development tools and practices involved with CI/CD, Continuous Testing/Security and Continuous Monitoring/Observability.Engage with your quality assurance function team focusing on a strategy to improve performance and system stability across a multitude of 3rd party SaaS and PaaS technologies.Test automation engineering experience with Selenium and Postman.Experience with developing both front-end and back-end automation tests.Proficient with various testing phases: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT.Good to have – Automation Requirements (must be willing to learn and implement)
