Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in Apodaca.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Monitoring and improving the Quality KPIs defined by the business.Developing the analysis of issues detected during the assembly process to ensure high product quality (RCA, A3, DMAIC Methodology, 8Ds, etc.).Ensuring full compliance with the QMS along the different processes.Performing audits and using analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances, and assisting in applying corrective and preventive action during the night shift.Assisting in implementing internal controls to verify that processes meet the requirements and ensuring that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating risks.Ensuring the inspection process through the different steps of the assembly.Managing a team of +30 quality inspectors to ensure correct support to the production line and to meet the different needs of the team.Qualifications for the roleA Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a manufacturing process.5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Control in the manufacturing industry.Experience in DMAIC methodology.Core Tools experience such as AMEF, Control Plan, PPAP, etc. (Desirable).Experience leading a team is a must, with a focus on people management (Blue Collar).Mid-Advanced English level.Self-driven, collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.What's in it for you?Coaching and mentoring from senior leaders and colleagues.Get motivated by continuous improvement in what we do and how we do it; bring your know-how.Be yourself: join one or many of our Employee Resource Groups and make a difference!BenefitsPaid and Unpaid leave opportunities.Life insurance.Accident insurance.Retirement plan.Wellbeing program.
