Job Description - SENIOR QUALITY TECHNICIAN (SEGUNDO TURNO) (2 POSICIONES) (2406220835W)Location: Juarez, Plant HorizontesJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Quality Technician will focus on quality engineering and customer complaints analysis. Responsibilities include the elaboration of reports and support to quality engineers.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTrain associates and coworkers in areas such as manufacturing processes, systems applications, measuring equipment, and customer complaints.Perform verifications for finished activities as a consequence of non-conformities.May perform product release activities.Aid and execute investigations for non-conformities, audit observations, CAPAs, and others.Conduct customer complaint analysis.Perform data collection and analysis; generate and distributereports for quality metrics and initiatives.Maintain consumables inventories applicable to the department.Maintain quality records according to the Records Retention Schedule.Update and provide information on quality records of the quality systems of the plant.Act as a database administrator of the department.Participate in the development of quality systems and processes.Support production lines by aiding quality engineers.Act as a coordinator for quality issues.Ensure compliance with Quality procedures, laws, and regulations.Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.Ensure that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum High School diploma or experience in a similar position.4 to 6 years of experience in a related position.Technical career or 50% of college career and related work experience preferred.Quality Improvement Associate or Quality Auditor Certification preferred.Ability to converse in English related to responsibilities with 75% efficiency.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREDBilingual: English / Spanish preferred.Knowledge of QSR / ISO preferred.Basic computer knowledge: MS Office, data sheets, presentations, databases required.Knowledge of quality engineering tools such as measuring systems analysis and basic statistical analysis required.ASQ Improvement Associate / Quality Auditor certifications desirable.Process Excellence Green Belt certification desirable.Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
