Wood Mackenzie Chemicals provides integrated commercial and strategic subscription research and consultancy services for the chemicals, fibres, films and plastics sectors. We provide insight combined with proprietary data, helping companies identify trends and take advantage of opportunities. Together, we inspire and innovate the markets we serve.About The RoleYou will be a key member of the Chemicals Research team, leading our coverage of EO/EG markets in the Americas. You will evaluate the trends in these markets from traditional routes as well as sustainable circular routes such as chemical recycling and bio sources. You will produce high-quality research in the form of thought-provoking reports, presentations and articles and will contribute to bespoke consulting projects. You will also participate in major industry events and conferences.You will research and validate markets, assets, and strategies and will assist in producing cost, price and margin forecasts at the regional and global levels.Through your research and responding to client queries, you will strengthen your network of contacts at key companies and industry associations. Your contribution to our industry-leading written reports, supply-demand models and presentations will be valued.About You and How You Can Excel in This RoleThe successful candidate will have substantive experience in an analytical role. Relevant market knowledge of the chemical sector and an in-depth understanding of EO/EG markets would be ideal. Alternatively, knowledge of olefins and/or polyester chemistries would be advantageous
