Your New Role: As an integral member of the SAP Basis team, the SAP Basis Administrator will provide administration support to all SAP and peripheral systems and participate in 24*7 production support with very minimal supervision. In addition, the SAP Senior Basis Team member is responsible for providing the architectural support for various SAP upgrade and enhancements projects including its execution.
Your Role Accountabilities: Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP S/4, SAP MDG, SAP BRIM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP SLT, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, APO, Live Cache/Max DB, SAP GRC, SAP CRM, SAP LVM, SAP IQ, MDM, Catalog, EP and Solution Manager. Peripheral systems such as OpenText, Go3i, PGP encryption. Interfaces such as printers, email servers, Go Anyware/file drops. Leading Proof of Concept and guiding team on new technologies. Maintaining and managing SAP Portal System. System copies and landscape synchronization. Manage backups and restores, disaster recovery, high availability of systems. Manage and satisfy SOX and other audit controls. Security experience with ABAP and Java stack. Effectively interface and collaborate with other infrastructure teams: server, storage, and networking. Participate in on-call rotation. Stay abreast of SAP roadmaps, development, and OSS notes to help improve current platform. Create and maintain team documentation leading to best practices, standardization, and service desk support. Qualifications & Experiences: 12 years deep SAP Basis Administration experience. 5+ years of experience working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment. 3+ years of experience in S/4HANA, BRIM, and BW/4HANA environment. 2+ years of experience supporting SAP in Cloud environment. Minimum of five complete life-cycle implementations. Experience with multiple SAP components: SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP SLT, SAP SCM, APO, Live Cache/MaxDB, SAP GRC, SAP SRM, SAP IQ, Portal, BTP, Fiori Launchpad, SAP CRM. Experience with Enhancement Packages, ABAP and Java stack administration including system copies. Experience supporting SAP in AWS cloud environment. Advanced level knowledge in managing SAP with HANA and/or DB2 databases with back up, High Availability, and DR solution. Intermediate knowledge with SAP cloud platform (SCP) Integration, Cloud Connector, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Experience with SAP HANA and/or DB2 Databases and Unix/Linux administration concepts as necessary for Basis work, including scripting in AWS Cloud and On-Premise environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiar with ODATA services and Fiori based Application Deployment. Strong analytical and technical communication skills. Understanding of SAP applications and its functionalities is an added advantage. Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone. Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively. Must be able to work well under time constraints. Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned. Must be service-oriented. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Preferred: Familiarity with SOX and ITIL. SAP certification. Knowledge of Entertainment Industry and business applications is an added advantage. Experience with AWS.
