The Senior Security Guard is skilled in various Security-related processes, procedures, and systems. Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:- Control entry and exit of personnel and vehicle- Provide loss prevention and deterrence of theft and unlawful activity by utilizing high-visibility patrols- Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones- Assist with employees, visitors, clients, and field operation's needs- Maintain and utilize logs, access lists, and emergency notifications- Inspect the property for security breaches and system malfunctions- Conduct random vehicle, bag, and toolbox searches- Complete work with a limited degree of supervision- Report intrusion and fire alarms- Report incidents and complaints to supervision- Train guards assigned to post and patrol positions- Liaise between McDermott staff and visitors, contractors, or vendors- Record incidents involving personnel, vehicles, and assets on the Daily Activity Report- Perform scheduled and random patrols- Maintain records of tools and equipment- Complete McDermott Security Guard Training- Perform scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to prevent security breaches**Essential Qualifications and Education**:- 2 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or 1 year as a Security Guard- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent- Must possess all state/federal/national security guard licenses applicable to the area of operation- Must hold a valid driver's license- Willingness and versatility to work extended or extra shifts when required- Values ethics, displays professionalism and maintains confidentiality- Must pass Fit for Duty as required- Must be able to stand for long periods- Ability to conduct business in a professional manner- Willing to work in all weather conditions- Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed- For USA-based operations, must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)LI-RM1
