This role will monitor the 2010, 2019, and SharePoint Online (SPO) environments by proactively and reactively resolve issues that arise. The role also designs and maintains Server and Operating System (OS) level architecture to keep the environments stable. The role will lead the technical side of any future migrations to the next version(s). This role will work with the Business Analyst and Developer roles to provide direction on best practices, recommend out of the box solutions, and lead platform knowledge within the team. The SharePoint Administrator will not only need to provide direction to the team but also to the larger business organization as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):- Helps to create and maintain the organization's SharePoint standards, including support, taxonomies, and naming standards.- Installation, administration, and maintenance of all environments- Monitor environment architecture standards and conventions.- Strong task management, customer contact, and task prioritization skills are required.- Requires knowledge & experience in SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2010 and 2019.- Builds knowledge of the organization, processes & customers.- Performs routine and difficult duties and tasks that need guided judgment, to implement various business systems and technologies to meet company's strategic objectives.- Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard practices.- On call responsibilities, including after-hours support- Receives a relative level of guidance and direction based on experience.Essential Education, Skills and Experience:- Five or more years of experience with Information Management and Enterprise Content Management systems required.- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent (work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts) and 5 years relevant work experience.- Five years of experience supporting SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019 or prior versions.- The ability to manage multiple priorities with a high incidence of changing requirements, analyze, and clarify ambiguous requests/instructions, meet very aggressive deadlines and demanding work schedules, and manage large workloads.- Prior use of tools such as Sharegate and PowerShell are highly desirable
