The Senior Site Technical Manager, in Amazon's Consumer Robotics Operations group, is a versatile position that requires both leadership and technical depth. They are responsible for making key decisions for technical issues related to the product development after considering everything from cost to quality of hardware and software. Provide technical direction for manufacturing process of all stations across SMT, final assembly, testing, and packaging. This will include but not limited to cycle time, yields, failure analysis, escalations, recovery process, and tracking in Jira. Deep dive in builds during the NPI phase, work with NPI team for process flow definition, manufacturing process set up and approval for mass production. Will also be part of the Production Operations team, driving high standards for accomplishing product automation, collaborating in identifying appropriate tooling and test fixtures, troubleshooting material and process issues, and qualifying processes to assure successful validation of new products into production.

- Act as technical leader for one product and manufacturing site, be responsible for factory readiness and ensure new product launch, meeting goal of quality, schedule and cost.
- Expedite closure of technical issues related to Final Assembly, Test and Packaging to ensure consistent execution of the factory's quality and production plans.
- Develop and achieve automation of product assembly and test lines to increase productivity, simplify scalability, and deliver outstanding product quality.
- Participation in design & planning through DFM, line balancing, as well as process yield, capacity and cost Modeling.
- Work with supplier engineering teams to identify and escalate manufacturing challenges by enforcing DFM and DFT principles.
- Focus in SMT technology, responsible for SMT DFM for new products, Line balancing, as well as Process Yield, Capacity and Cost Modeling.
- Review and Approval of Tooling Designs & Qualification.
- Responsible for yield improvement and manufacturing resolution for sustaining products.
- Direction and Oversight of Process Qualification, Approval and Documentation.
- Working with Quality team for Quality improvements.
- Working with Lean team on Lean project and automation.

- Help develop process and teams to establish a shared engagement and development model of product development (e.g. CM, JDM, ODM).
- Lead an internal cross functional team and external vendors to deliver a next generation product.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program achieves its program milestones, meets quality requirements, and meets/beats financial targets.
