ASM is part of the Core of the Oracle Database; it is a File System anda Logical Volume Manager for the Database. We work on different projects to support our Cloud, Cloud at Customer, and On-Premises customers. In the Cloud, ASM is used in all of the appliances, such as Exadata or ODA (Oracle Database Appliance), and it is also used in most of our customer's environments that did not purchase an appliance.Required Skills and QualificationsExcellent knowledge and experience developing, debugging, and maintaining C applications.Very good in Operating Systems (multithreading, processes, stacks, etc.).Very good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, memory management.Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, interprocess communication is required in an experienced candidate.Experience working in Linux environments.Preferred QualificationsInterprocess communication.Good knowledge of tools such as gcc, gdb, and other debug tools.Knowledge of version control systems like Rational ClearCase for UNIX.Career Level - IC3As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications or operating systems.
