This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms, behavior, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control.Develop, code, and maintain ADAS, active safety, and automated vehicle behavior, planning, behavior, assessment and vehicle control algorithmsDevelop technical specifications and DFMEAsDevelop and execute functional test plansConduct detailed performance analysisWork with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issuesComplete assigned individual and team tasksSupport advanced development process activities (analysis, design, reviews, verification testing)Your BackgroundKey ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field3-7 years of programming experience in: C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink modelingExperience in Vehicle Dynamics and Control Systems3+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship)Strong in control theory & systems designExcellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in EEE, Instrumentation, ECE Engineering, Computer Science.3+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) – C/C++.Superior communication & presentation skillsBackground in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusionBackground in optimization, path planning and advanced filtering methodsBackground in object detection and tracking algorithm designISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertiseWhy join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
