ARCOS enables utilities to quickly mobilize personnel for blue and grey sky work, manage native and non-native crews in a single system, and accelerate operations with field mobility tools that deliver real-time situational awareness.Roles and Responsibilities:Position Summary:A Senior Software Engineer at ARCOS is a technical leader who collaborates as part of an agile development team, providing advanced software engineering expertise to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will deeply understand software architecture, prioritize quality, and be committed to enhancing our codebase's security, scalability, readability, and testability.Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of software that aligns with the needs of ARCOS's customers and strategic goals. Advocate, evangelize, and set standards for code quality and best engineering practices (e.g., clean code, design patterns, code reviews, and unit testing).Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members across different departments, contributing to the collective knowledge and ensuring project success. Mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their technical and professional skills.Execution & Delivery: Operate within an Agile Scrum framework, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
