National Pen's unique niche is the ability to personalize a promotional product to a customer's specific needs for low volume production batches.Purpose of the RoleThe Senior Sourcing Manager for Direct and Indirect spend drives competitive business advantage by implementing innovative strategies for cost reduction, high quality and timely service provision across the corporation's Direct and Indirect Expenditure for goods and services primarily at our Mexico Operations but also seeking global opportunities to leverage our global scale. This person will be responsible for leadership and implementation of commercial strategies and service standards to support a variety of Business Teams with their third party spend. The individual will support their stakeholders in the delivery of key strategies, objectives, process improvements and metric alignment that will result in cost reduction, cost avoidance, risk mitigation and service/quality improvement to Perrigo operating companiesWhat you will do:Develop and implement strategic and tactical procurement and negotiation strategies based on the plan to reduce costs, improve quality and service, and enhance corporate core value drivers.Effectively communicate and build collaborative relationships across the broad network of Business Leads throughout the organisation.Build a pipeline of savings and improvement projects at Mexico plant as well as globallyKeep informed on Category specific industry trends and market dynamics and share information about global best practices, innovative ideas, collaborative opportunities, where relevant, with your stakeholders
