Senior Specialist, Employee Relations

**What you'll be able to do**:

- Encouraging an effective, inclusive work environment/culture and relationship, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company priorities and values
- Analyzing data and use technology to proactively identify and diagnose business needs / opportunities and develop solutions to meets those needs
- Partner with local HR teams to assess their protected reports of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims
- Investigate and approve all salaried disciplines for customer base
- Partner with local Compliance and Legal teams to resolve employment litigation issues
- Scan the internal and external environment to identify trends that may affect or change the relationship the Company has with its employees
- Lead or participate on special local or global project teams

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's d egree
- Experience conducting investigations
- Passion for the employee and ability to empathize with their needs
- Collaborative and empathetic approach to solve problems with teams across Ford
- Creative thinker, problem solver and resilient
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in compliance topics

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Proven ability to deliver high quality results while handling multiple priorities
- Prior experience working with agile cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates a growth mindset (Learn-It-All)
- Aptitude for critical thinking
- Capable of communicating across skill teams, regions and at all levels
- Strong coaching and facilitation skill
