This role is integral to fulfilling AstraZeneca's external disclosure obligations across Europe, the United States (US), and emerging markets such as Japan and Australia. You will be working in a complex, high-activity environment, processing high-quality, accurate, and consistent payment data. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with key internal and external customers to capture and reconcile data collected both internally and externally.Accountabilities:As a Senior Specialist, you will conduct data stewardship, data analysis & reconciliation processes of internal and external data. You will partner with internal and external collaborators to clarify or seek additional information pertaining to identified data issues. You will contribute and adhere to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes and standards. You will acquire an understanding of the basic reporting requirements for each country's disclosure obligations. You will gain knowledge of AstraZeneca's internal systems that contribute to a disclosure report. You will also support internal and external audits or data requests of payment transparency data as necessary.Essential Skills/Experience:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field)- Experience in finance, auditing, quality assurance/control, SOX, data management/stewardship and/or risk management- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing projects simultaneously within aggressive timelines.- Ability to interpret and use data effectively, understand business context and generate improvement actions.- Strong ethical, collaborative, and influencing skills.- Experience working with large amounts of data, with attention to detail.- Excellent computer skills, including data and reporting software programs
