Here is what we can tell you about the role.**THE WORK**Our ideal Senior Staff Agile Coach is a solid Agile practitioner who can teach, facilitate, mentor, and coach individuals and teams within—and occasionally beyond—our Product and Technology organization. Through their diligent study, hands-on experience, and mentee experience, they have developed enough unconscious competence that they are effectively framework-agnostic and can draw from many different frameworks and thought leaders. Lacking formal authority in most contexts, the Senior Staff Agile Coach leverages their extraordinary communication skills and psychosocial/emotional maturity to build relationships and inspire high performance.- The Senior Staff Agile Coach demonstrably helps teams continuously improve their terminology, tools, processes, structure, and culture to create a joyful, ethical, and high-performance environment.- Support teams and value streams in developing a Lean/Agile mindset, including deep respect for people and teams, continuous improvement, economic decision-making, small batches, shortest possible lead times, maintaining quality at appropriately high levels, and minimizing waste.- Facilitate various events within and beyond their teams, creating an environment of openness, safety, and innovation as well as supporting others in their growth as facilitators.- Create an environment of accountability and attention to results within their teams. Allow the team to remain responsible and leave enforcement of accountability to the team's leadership.- Coach individuals and teams with a thoughtful and creative process that helps them realize their highest potential while honoring and leveraging their inherent creativity, resourcefulness, and wholeness.- Mentor less experienced individuals and teams in a number of related domains, giving feedback without excessive emotional overtone or judgment.- Teach and train individuals and teams in Agile/Lean concepts using modern pedagogical techniques.
