.The Senior Staff Solution Architect is a technology and architecture leader with broad knowledge of systems, services, software architectural concepts and systems integration patterns. Provide IT and consulting services to software teams about how to best meet customer needs with scalable and extensible architectures and solutions. Work with engineering and technology leaders across Thermo Fisher to accelerate delivering customer value and meet the business goals. As a collaborative leader, you will use prior experience (development and architecture) & knowledge of technology trends, to learn and detail key architectural and technical design approaches that encompass voice of customers.**In this role you will**:Collaborate with divisional leaders, product managers, program/project managers, business leaders to distill strategy into tangible requirements, derive solution architectures and deliver projectsAct as software architecture consultant to teams throughout the development processDefine and drive adoption of architecture frameworks, patterns & standardsBuild proficiency with portfolio of Thermo Fisher systems, technologies, services and standards to improve them.Document & review business functional/nonfunctional requirements and propose solution architectures with detailed specifications.Identify and define required system interfaces and map dependenciesConduct technical assessments, proofs of concepts and participate in the design and development of enterprise solutionsMentor & coach leads and Sr. EngineersLead architect communities in collaboration with technology leadersDevelop & maintain architecture standards and frameworksPromote R&D teams about solution development processes and approachesSystem Thinking - Proven Knowledge of system, components, actors, behavior, failure modes etc.Solution architecture -Very strong Experience in building solutions from components or systems to satisfy customer valueSystem Architecture - Very strong Experience in identifying architecture patterns for re-usability, compliance to standards, supporting deployment modelsVery strong knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Systems - IOT, Data Management, Cloud/Cloud-nativeExcellent knowledge of Software as a ServiceVery strong knowledge of requirements elicitation (use cases, epics, features etc
