With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate and enhancing safe mobility.We are looking for a Senior Supplier Development Engineer in the Aftermarket North America Purchasing team at our Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico location.Position is responsible for serving as the functional expert for Aftermarket Supplier Development, Supplier Management and Project Purchasing activities in North America.Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, develop and on-board suppliers aligned to purchasing strategy.Lead supplier process audit assessments, supplier readiness and approval.Lead project purchasing activities: sourcing, negotiations, launch within cost and timing.Coordinate supplier quality assurance, KPI performance achievement, risk management, and escalation.Update related records and systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, Quality or related technical field.Minimum 6-year experience in a Supplier Development, Supplier Management, Project Purchasing role in a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO standards, APQP, PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, 8D, GDT.VDA 6.3 lead auditor, Project Management, 6 sigma are a plus.Proficient in Microsoft O365 with Advanced Analytics and Negotiation skills.Knowledge of MRP systems.Travel Required 20-40%.About the Team:Reporting to the Head of Aftermarket Purchasing Region North America, you will be responsible for serving as the functional expert for Aftermarket Supplier Development, Supplier Management and Project Purchasing activities in North America.
