Responsibilities: Identifies & leads Lean Management Initiatives with our Suppliers to enable sustainable improvements that lead to cost savings and/or avoidance.Leads continuous improvement programs of suppliers' performance (and their second-tier suppliers) on their manufacturing processes, striving for "zero defects".Supports the Supplier Selection Process and Supplier/Parts Qualification to Production.Supports the identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for major impacting non-conformities in products and services at Suppliers.Identifies existing and/or potential opportunities for improvements in Quality & Costs.Monitors Supplier Performance KPIs, analyzes suppliers' manufacturing processes, quality records, complaints, FMEAs, and other sources of data.Establishes initiatives at Suppliers to ensure that sufficient improvements will be implemented.Works closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D to assure continuous improvement of products, services, and processes to meet quality & cost requirements and regulatory compliance at the suppliers.Performs supplier manufacturing process audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure implementation of improvement actions.Provides technical Supplier Evaluations for Supplier selection according to Category and/or Sourcing Strategy Initiatives.Provides technical guidance and expertise internally and to suppliers regarding manufacturing processes, methods, techniques, and capabilities.Offers technical expertise on quality methods and manufacturing processes. Requirements: University degree, preferably in Mechanical/Chemical/Electronics or Medical Engineering.Six Sigma certification, at least Green Belt.Several (minimum 5) years of experience in leading Supplier Development Programs.Several (minimum 5) years of experience in Lean Management and Quality Management.Proven experience in performing Supplier Audits.Good knowledge of risk analysis techniques on products and processes (DFMEA, PFMEA).Proven methods of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).Autonomy.Negotiation skills.Creates and communicates a clear strategy/plan.Ability to make decisions in difficult situations.Problem-solving skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
