**Job Description**:
Position Summary
Provide support to the Rockwell Automation Supplier Quality Program, which includes New Product Introduction Execution, Plant and Customer Support, Supplier Assessments and Approvals, Supplier Issue Resolution, Supplier Development and Improvements, Advanced Quality Planning for process and part approvals, and project management for supplier continuous improvement, may have project leadership responsibility. This job may require 35% travel.
Information Processing Capability:
- Read and interpret Engineering drawings and technical documentation with understanding of Electrical/mechanical parts and products.- Lead Supplier Quality Engineering early preventive activities including drawings requirements, risk assessment and mitigation, supplier audits and qualification activities, control plan development, inspection plan, first article review.- Analytical and problem-solving competency to drive performance results- Uses dashboards and metrics to drive on-going commodity performance continuous improvement.- Lead and address any supplier related corrective, preventive actions, and improvement, addresses true and systemic root cause, and eliminates repeats.- Applies quality methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g. 8D, SPC, Cp/Cpk, GR&R, Design for Six Sigma, Cost of Poor Quality, Failure Mode Effect Analysis, etc.) incrementally and throughout product development and release.

Minimum Qualifications-
- 5 years or more experience working in manufacturing, supplier, or quality engineering functions- Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes- Comprehensive knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA.- Proficient at RCFA and problem-solving techniques (8D-5Why)- Experience at leading quality audits on suppliers to assure products and services meet ISO standards.- Excellent english verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write technical reports and presentations.- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of peers effectively.- Self starter capable of working with some supervision. Can effectively balance workload and priorities and can escalate effectively to get management support and guidance prior to missing milestones or critical deadlines.- Strong team building, leadership, decisiveness, and communication skills are essential.- Ability to fluently read, write & speak English.
Desired Qualifications- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning system, preferably SAP.- Certification in LEAN, Six SIGMA tools and methodologies, Six Sigma Black Belt, CQE, CQA from ASQ- Supply chain management experience, business performance review, collaborative quality management with suppliers- Project Management or Project Management Professional certification- Master's in engineering or MBA preferred.
