.GENERAL SUMMARYBRP offers a career opportunity as Senior System Administrator; customer oriented, goodcollaboration with teammates, experience working with multi-functional teams, responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring and providing maintenance of systems hardware, software and related backend infrastructure for servers and storage.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONCollege Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Or equivalent work experience5+ years experienceExperience with High-Availability environmentsBilingual (Spanish & English).KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONSExcellent knowledge on infrastructure technologies (servers, virtualization, networking, end user computing, etc)Technical knowledge of current networking hardware (routers, switches, access points, etc.),Windows and linux operating systems experienceGood knowledge of at least one scripting languageServer and SAN storage hardware experienceVirtualization experience (VMware)Data Protection experienceKnowledge of system security techniquesHigh level of analytical and independent problem-solving abilities, self-direction.Strong communication skills and technical writing skills.Effective negotiation skills, able to facilitate collaboration between stakeholders with differing opinionsAbility to provide technical support in a professional mannerAbility to conduct research into technical issues and products as required.Ability to work under pressureProject management experienceMulti-taskingAvailability to work on the day shift and attend escalation after office hoursPunctualityMAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIESParticipates in technical research and development to promote innovation within the infrastructure environmentAssists project teams with planning and technical issuesReview purchase justifications and infrastructure cost estimates prepared by team members to ensure qualityPrepare infrastructure proposals and papersProvides support and technical assistance to operational support staff as well as all system users if needed.Configure, monitor, and manage Backup Software, Servers, Patch Management, Anti-Virus.Lead in assigned incident's resolution and documentationMonitor the performance of servers, software and hardwareApprove detailed technical designs and if required, update the technical documentationReview and approve technical quotes received from vendorsReview and approve technical documentations and proceduresProvide level 3 support for service deskProvide off-hours on call support for critical production systems if necessaryParticipate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.Comply with safety rules according to the function.Comply in time planned training related to Quality and Training.Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions
