**Description**Koch is seeking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to be ideally located in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The Sr Tax Manager will be primarily responsible to support tax matters associated with the activities of multiple Koch affiliate companies operating within Mexico.**What you will do**:- Assist with internal tax inquiries from Koch's businesses- Operate as a liaison between internal capabilities and external advisors- Support transfer pricing advisors & internal TP capability with all local compliance requirements- Provide local tax technical expertise and analysis in support of local business operations, daily routine questions involving tax or new projects.- Provide support for tax audits and informal inquiries from the tax authorities.- Ensure companies have the appropriate records and processes to support tax audits with focus on areas of highest risk working proactively on position management.- Review documents prepared by external advisors- Monitor and research for law changes that could impact tax- Develop strong business relationships with local company finance teams and other capabilities to understand current and future planned operations- Identify and communicate potential value-added opportunities to Koch tax and business team when appropriate- This role will report to the Koch Latin America leader**Qualification Requirements**:- Experience leading a Tax team, dealing with advisors and interacting with SAT- Knowledge of Mexican tax (income tax and VAT) with proved experience of tax compliance processes- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Law or Finance- Highly motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Self-starter with ability to effectively take ownership of and prioritize responsibilities- Strong verbal and writing skills in both English and Spanish- Strong accountability and organization to work with different teams and capabilities partnering on projects and tasks.- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time**Preferences**:- Experience in a Big 4 firm and/or U.S. based Fortune 500 multi-national corporation preferred.- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master's in Taxation is preferred.- Experience in coordinating Mexican tax audit inquiries and resolution of audits- Experience with maquiladora operations (safe harbor calculations, APA, VAT certifications, etc.)- Knowledge and background in tax planning and managing key tax positions for Mexican businesses- Experience in transfer pricing rules and regulations- Tax accounting understanding- Previous leadership experience and someone who has experience of building a team
