What you'll do In your role as Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Cloud Services customer for SAP innovative products. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing customers, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success. In your day-to-day you will:
Lead the Service delivery based on the defined KPIs. Provide pre-sales support. Build complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support on all platforms and for the latest hardware technologies. Plan, set up, implement, and operate SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLA requirements. Create proper documentation, define technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes, and roll out this information/knowledge to the rest of the local and global team. Standardize complex activities and convert them into standards. Work closely with Architecture teams to define and validate new offerings. Install the product as per ECS standard. Manage migration to ECS DC, Azure, AWS, and GCP. Handle cross-platform moves of customer landscapes. Collaborate closely with developers and architects from the technology platform and all lines of businesses to come to feasible and adaptable solutions. Work as part of the Scrum Team. Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English. Knowledge of ITIL and Project management. Minimum 1 year of experience in Service management and Project Management. Profound knowledge with 7+ years of working experience as Technical SAP Net Weaver Consultant (ABAP and Java basis administration), with experience in the installation of the New Innovation SAP products on HANA, ASE database, and Linux and Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of non-ABAP SAP products like XSA, IDM, BOBJ, open text, etc. Up to 2 years of experience in Installation, Upgrade, and Migration activities on ABAP and NON-ABAP SAP products. Working experience/knowledge on Hyperscalers like Azure, AWS, GCP will be an added advantage. Migration and support project experience involving large enterprises. Meet your team Together with your team, you will work in the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services with Technical Operation Unit (TECH-OP) which is an IT-infrastructure provider to the SAP Cloud Customers and is responsible for running SAP's ECS External customer landscape as a world-class service provider for SAP products. In ECS we are building, managing, and running 3000+ customer landscapes in SAP DC and Hyperscalers like Azure, GCP, AWS with the most advanced technology. We are highly motivated and skilled engineers with locations in Germany, Mexico, India, and the US.
