.The Senior Thermal Management/IMS Technical Training Instructor will coordinate and deliver training programs consistent with the company's strategy of product specifications, positioning, and performance. Instruction will include, but not limited to, safety, installation, theory of operations, system operating procedures, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, serviceability, and installation/flashing of software for Vertiv Custom Thermal Management Systems and Integrated Modular Systems (IMS).**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Instruct field service, safety, new hire, and technical classes on Vertiv Thermal Management Systems and Integrated Modular Systems (IMS)- Prepare classrooms, simulators, and lab areas.- Conduct presentations and webinars.- Model and enforce Vertiv safety guidelines.- Maintain above goal student satisfaction ratings.- Schedule and facilitate training assessments.- Maintain and enforce classroom conduct in accordance with published policies.- Maintain classrooms and training equipment in good working condition.- Maintain safety and test equipment in proper working order and update tracking lists- Maintain tools, spare parts, and lab equipment/products in proper working order.- Maintain the classrooms and lab areas.- Assist in technical training course material development.- Participate in New Product Development (NPDI) process.- Participate in new training development with Field Operations, Technical Support, and Engineering.- Participate in on-site support in conjunction with Field Operations, Technical Support, and Engineering.- Maintain training course materials.- Review training materials for compliance with training requirements and ensure training material relevance according to schedule.- Incorporate Engineering Changes Notices ( ECN), Field Change Notices (FCN) and Safety Bulletins into training in a timely manner.- Practice continuous improvement in all aspects of the position's realm of responsibility.- Review and incorporate student feedback.- Use industry best practice training methods and lessons learned.- Attend professional development training and conferences to continue to hone development and instructor skills.- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.- Turn in expense reports, trip reports, and timecards accurately and on time.- Complete student grade cards accurately and on time.- Order training supplies and materials to enhance instruction programs.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:- Four-year technical degree, HVAC related area of study preferred, or equivalent training and experience.- Proficiency and knowledge of thermal management principles and field service.- Knowledge of electrical and electronic controls preferred.- Minimum of four years instructional experience with an emphasis on thermal management equipment.- Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on presentation skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills
