This person will be a key member of our global team, working directly with our US clients on mission-critical engagements.The Senior UX Designer is responsible for ensuring that the design effort aligns with our client's business objectives. This includes working closely with the 3Pillar engagement team and clients to create outstanding designs that delight the end users. The Senior UX Designer will work closely and partner with global delivery teams (Product Management, Engineering, and Program Management) to consult with clients on business challenges; deliver best-of-breed products using Agile practices; and drive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAble to work independently on engagements (i.E., without a 3Pillar UX Lead)Guide work of 1-2 3Pillar UX designers (on larger engagements)Lead UX rituals/meetings (if there's no UX Lead)Participate in engagement agile ritualsEnsure the UX team understands the product vision, mission, goals, values, and user type(s)Explain changes in scope, reprioritizations, implications to junior team membersPresent and explain design decisions and recommendations to 3Pillar team and client stakeholdersSet up and manage engagement tools (Figma, FigJam, etc)Forge strong partnership with PDM, PM, and EngineeringIdentify risks and escalate appropriatelyPossess strong skills in interaction and visual designEstablish tools and processes for the UX team on the engagementMentor more junior team membersHelp prepare workshopsHelp craft client presentationsHelp create a collaborative team cultureParticipate in technical UX interviews with prospective hiresParticipate in developing internal training and practicesHelp lead internal training sessionsPublish UX content via LinkedIn, Medium, or other channels approximately 4x per yearCommunicate plans, priorities, and status to the client, team members, and internal management as appropriate.Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends and emerging technologies such as AI, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market
