Sensory Scientist - Fragrance & Beauty, your future role? You will be an important part of our Fragrance & Beauty team in Mexico. You will apply your knowledge, your creativity and your experience designing and leading Sensory research projects to develop the best products and solutions in the fragrance industry to meet our clients expectations and to boost our business.

Reporting to the Latam Technical Director, you will work on-site in our corporate laboratories located at Punto Polanco, Mexico City.
Your main responsibilities will be: Sensory tests Design and ExecutionPlan, organize and conduct Sensory tests in the context of projects for fragrance consumer and fine fragrances products, write regular reports and initiate stage gate reviews.Perform daily management of technical sensory and neuroscience tools and equipment.Create new sensory protocols and progress toward project deliverables.Scientific Sensory Expert SupportBe a scientific and technical expert in the sensory sciences field.Perform exploratory research to lead to new technical projects and solutions.Develop and validate sensorial test methods and technical planning.Follow the scientific advancement in sensory/neuroscience field and identify potential outside collaborations.You If you are someone who wants to shape your world, who excels in being in a culture where you can express yourself in a creative team environment, who wants to collaborate and learn together with teams who are as passionate as you are, then join us - and improve your world.
Your professional profile includes: Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related discipline.At least 7 years of experience in Sensory Science in the fragrances or foods industries, with practical knowledge of sensory evaluation methods and its role in supporting product development and optimization.Knowledge of overall fragrance science and technology and understanding of fragrance business.Experience developing new sensory protocols.Experience with sensory software, EyeQuestion; FIZZ, and statistical analysis.Fluent English and Spanish.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
