You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and serviceability, and develop and implement service processes that meet customer needs.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in setting up manufacturing assembly processes or driving new product launches or assembly processes refining within manufacturing operation.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.Experience in design for manufacturability and serviceability.Excellent cross-functional engineering skills and experience leading a team.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical development and execution of service strategies related to NPI product development of Consumer Hardware Engineer (HW) Service Operations.Work with cross-functional teams to understand customers' requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide products design for repairability and serviceability.Track and report on Service Engineering metrics, such as refining the Service Requirement Definition (SRD) for product design and tracing scores for all products.Identify and implement opportunities for NPI service improvement and setting product design for serviceability / repairability targets.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best in service engineering.#J-18808-Ljbffr
