Expeditors is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.**Job Description**:**Scope of Position**SPM Specialist works in collaboration among Service Provider Manager and Product Managers driving our efforts to qualify service providers, engage and develop the relationships and measure their performance to ensure we are driving operational excellence and obtaining the best possible value from our Service Providers to our Customers.**Key Deliverables**Employee Satisfaction- All team members to complete 52-hour training per year (4 33 per month)- All team members to complete all mandatory training timelyOperational Performance- Maintain Approved Providers scores at 100%- Monitor and contribute to electronic Connectivity scores at 100% (DRR,DRA, COB, DLV, POD)- Contribute to performance Evaluation scores at 100%**General Responsibilities**:- Exemplify and Teach Our Culture, Mission and Goals.- Follow the 10 Critical Success Factors.- Own your self-development. Prepare, follow-up and execute on your personal development goals.- Assist Service Provider Manager ensuring service consistency and reliability to our internal customers product and service departments.- Assist Service Provider Manager ensuring service consistency and reliability from our Service Providers to our internal customers product and service departments.- Ensure strong knowledge and proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools, applicable for service providers management.- Assist and collaborate with Service Provider Manager to map and understand department process flow, constantly drive service improvements to create efficiency of operations and competitive market cost.- Actively participate in the optimization of tools and continuously improve the efficiency and quality of the service.- Contribute to the District Tactical SPM plan.- Follow corporate approval process for Fixed Asset purchases (CAPEX form)- Assist Service Provider Manager on priorities and projects as needed.- Escalate necessary issues to Service Provider Manager or Shared Service Manager.**Operations****Qualify**:- Collaborate with Service Provider Manager, Product & Service managers to identify the need for a new service provider, outline service expectations and measurements for new and existing service providers
