**_Summary of the position_**_:_
- The Customer Engineer are responsible for interacting with customers to determine their needs and preferences, making a follow up to all customer complaints, improve customer score cards and attend customer meeting that requires AMETEK support._
**_Requirements & Skills:_**
- Bachelors degree on II, IM, IE, IS, IEC, etc_
- + 4 years on similar position & _manufacturing environment in maquiladora industry with experience in Quality Engineer._
- Knowledge and practice of AS 9100 or AS 13100_
- Dealing with customers_
- Knowledge and practice of problem-solving methods (8D, 7D, 5 phases, fishbone, etc.)_
- Process Evaluation and Variation Analysis Techniques (PFMEAs and Process Control Plans)_
- MSA implementation, analyze and solve problems systematically._
- Interpretation of engineering drawings_
- Management of product evaluation team_
- Management of measurement tools_
- Minitab or equivalent statistical software desirable._
- Methods of statistical control of Process and Quality Planning (SPC, Control Charts, Control Plan, PPAP, QFD, POKA YOKE)_
**_Main responsibilities_**:
- Take the customer meetings and follow up to all cases reported by customer including CARs, QNs, Customer Complains and other cases as requested._
- To be a focal point with our Customers for all Quality topics or concerns._
- Improve the customer scorecards to have a better performance reviewing and making a follow up to the nonconformance documented in the customer portals or scorecards._
- Notify to all involved members when a CAR or QN has been received from customer._
- Review the containment reports to ensure that meet customer expectation before submit._
- Review the customer investigation reports and CARs response to ensure that meet the customer expectation before to submit._
- Gestion and document the units returned as warranty._
- Maintain the customer charts updated for the management review in any time._
- Conducting research to find solutions to technical problems or issues._
- Working with other departments including sales, marketing, accounting, and customer service to ensure that customer needs are met._
