.**The Role**:**PURPOSE**:Perform credit management activities for Mexico Fleet Solutions. Ensuring the seamless delivery of Credit management through driving the balance of risk and reward. Acting as SME for Credit assessment matters, including coordination of cross team initiatives and credit assessment operational excellence improvements.**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:- Responsible for the credit risk assessment of customers and credit exposure management of the overall portfolio.- Ensure compliance with Global Downstream Credit policy, OCM standards & RDS controls.- Maintaining good relationship with key stakeholders both internal and external ones.- Analysing, managing and improving Credit metrics such as DSO, Overdues and bad debts for respective OU/LOB. Having direct impact to P&L and company working capital. Working closely with Collegues in Manila.**INTERFACES**:- Conduct risk assessment/reassessment of customers, negotiating and managing security arrangements, establishment of appropriate credit limits with necessary Manual of Authority (MOA) and the analysis of the overall credit exposure.- Customer intimacy (through onsite visits, etc.) and deep business and commercial knowledge, particularly with high risk/strategic customers.- Provide authorized approval for the release of blocked orders in respect of credit.- Will participate or lead in engagement session or Operational Credit Committees with Customer Operations, Sales, and Finance- Actively Engage with Supervisor located in Houston around complex credit management issues and process improvements**DIMENSIONS**:- High customer & stakeholder (Finance, Shell Business, Customer Operations) engaging role- Mexico: 13.4M Fleet vehicles, 70B liters and still growing. Shell Fleet Solution just entered Mexico market in 2021. We will serve Mexican commercial customers with a holistic Fleet solution inc. fuel cards, telematics and other products and services. We aspire to grow to a $20M C5 business in 5 years.**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**:- Degree in Finance or related Business degree preferred- Minimum 3 years relevant credit or financial experience demonstrating strong financial analysis skills- Skill to assess industry risk, external market, and support sales/business with appropriate response (currency crisis, debt crisis, pandemic, etc.)- Language: Must speak and write Spanish and English fluently.- Strong diplomatic negotiating skills with ability to make tough decisions and implement action steps to resolve credit issues while maintaining customer relationships.- Demonstrated leadership capabilities for team projects with ability to motivate team efforts and lead and influence outside organizational boundaries.- Strong aptitude for managing processes and driving towards best-in-class process performance
