About the Role
In this role you will gain valuable experience in multiple aspects of the procurement process and the SAP procurement module.
How you will contribute
Analyze and address inbound requests to the Purchasing Shared Service Center for the North American Region including but not limited to: vendor set up, purchase order creation and updates.
Resolve parked invoices including root cause analysis.
Run reports.
Provide purchasing process and systems support.
Create Purchase Requests for multiple locations as required.
Provide coverage for other specialists when they are absent.
Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
Ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Detail-oriented.
1 year of experience in a Shared Services or Purchasing Administrative support role.
Basic understanding of the Procure to Pay process, request for quotation (RFQ) process, as well as cost reduction and supply base rationalization is preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Ability to work independently to achieve business goals.
High level of motivation.
Critical Thinking Ability to identify inefficiencies, analyze them from multiple perspectives and develop strategies to address the root cause.
Experience within SAP and/or Oracle is preferred.
Ability to work well in cross-functional teams that include internal and external customers, and suppliers.
