Position SummaryThe role will play a pivotal role in executing Buckman's SHERQ strategy. The SHERQ Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Buckman policies and procedures on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality as well as maintaining Buckman's ISO certification. He/She manages/coordinates regulatory affairs COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, SAGARPA (SADER).
Ensuring SHE Compliance by maintaining MSDS updatesCollaboration with sales and operations to ensure SHE requirements' compliance.Management of LTIR & OIR indicatorsEstablishing good communication with warehouses to ensure SHE compliance.Ensuring the SHE training is aligned to global standards and local regulationsAdvising Buckman about ergonomics for associate's health and safetyHazmat (hazardous materials regulations), warehouse and transportsTo coordinate internal and external ISO auditsTo support the ISO management system providing resources to control documents and records.Managing Non-Conformance's process and monitoring action plansTo provide support to Quality Assurance to approve products' specificationsTo provide COAs to customers in a timely manner.To coordinate samples' analysis with warehouses or suppliers to ensure quality standards and/or extend shelf life.To carry out product updates (raw materials and finished product) in the SAP systemOverseeing tolling agreements/contracts' complianceCollaborating with other operation areas to ensure supply on time.Ensuring full compliance of tollers with quality requirements.Acts as key point of contact for Country Manager about tollingRegulatory affairs COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, SAGARPA (SADER)Maintaining registrations, licenses and certification updated (Mexico and Central America)Execute disposal of chemicals according to regulationsCompetencies Needed for SuccessStrong communication skills and ability to build consensus.Excellent data analysis skillsAbility to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.Exceptional analytical decision-making skillsMust have successful experiencesStrong customer focus and interpersonal skillsExcellent research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization skillsHighly Desirable ExperiencesSafety and health legal complianceQuality assuranceSAPISO 9000Risk managementRegulatory affairsMinimum Requirements to ApplyBachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, safety, health, quality, regulatory or related discipline.Advanced English level5+ years of experience in SHERQStrong customer focus and interpersonal skillsExcellent research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization skills#LI-CL1
